Instagram - city walk Salzburg

Instagram city walk over the Salzburg city mountains, Mönchsbberg, Festungsberg and Kapuzienerberg with fantastic views and charming photo motifs.

Via Mülln we climb together over the Müllner parish church through the Monikapforte the Mönchsber.
We stroll leisurely over the Humboldt Terrace to the Museum of Modern Art. Contemporary works of art of the "Modern Walk of Art" line our way. In addition, we are richly endowed with great views of the heart of the city of Salzburg with its baroque domed roofscape.

Through the Bürgerwehr we reach the Stadtalm. Here is a small relax stop to enjoy the rich visual impressions.

Now we walk a bit through the mysterious mixed forest of the Mönchsberg. We dive into the mystical aura of this mountain. The rock of the Mönchsberg, the "Salzburger Nagelfluh" has many mysterious caves and its porous yet velvety surface exudes a pleasant earthy scent. You really feel like taking a "forest bath" to the fullest.

Passing the stupa we reach the Richterhöhe and walk relaxed through the narrow alleys with the interesting houses, villas and small castles. Via the fortress hill the route leads us to the Nonnberg.

The collegiate church of Nonnberg is a jewel of the late Gothic period. It richly endows us with this so impressive
sacred space.

Via the Nonnbergstiege we descend again into the old town and stroll along the Kaigasse with its lovely concept stores towards the Mozartsteg.

The Mozartsteg opens up a top view of the fortress and, of course, of the entire old town.

In narrow stone alley we may walk on the exciting traces of the Salzburg Middle Ages.

Via the pilgrims" staircase we climb past the "Johanniskircherl2" to the Mönchsberg. Here we get as a farewell gift of this special tour a magnificent city panorama, this time from the other side.

Via the stations of the cross of the Kapuzinerberg we reach the Linzer Gasse. Here, a reward drink awaits us as a reward for our endurance. The Instagram city walk comes to an end with a fun chat about the impressions we have shared.
